When Should You Put Up Christmas Decorations \ (•◡•) /
Perhaps thats because Thanksgiving has always been largely stressful for me. In my house we usually put up our decorations two weeks after the start of September but it is also a good idea to put them up on 1 December because that is the start of the Christmas season.

When should you put up christmas decorations. However in many areas it has become. By the last century decorations in family homes commonly went up a week beforehand. Traditionally the tree and decorations were not put up until Christmas Eve and in the past having the tree up earlier or later than these dates was considered bad luck.
Some traditions state that. Traditionally Christmas trees and decorations would go up on the first day of advent which is the fourth Sunday before Christmas Day. 15th December is the earliest it should go up.
So if you take your Christmas tree down straight after New Years Eve then you should order your tree to arrive on the 28th November. Another suggestion is to wait until the third Sunday of Advent - December 11. Some might even wait until Christmas eve.
You can wait until 12 days before Christmas and put the tree up on December 13. This year it falls on. The custom is secular but according to Father Edward.
Traditionally Christmas trees were not brought in and decorated until Christmas Eve and were removed the day after Twelfth Night - which is January 5. But rest assured the very moment the Hallmark Channel begins its official Countdown to Christmas this year that was October 27 my pumpkin candles get swapped for juniper and the Santa ephemera starts taking over my 300-square-foot apartment. Another suggestion is to wait until the third Sunday of Advent - thats December 16 in 2018.
It was considered bad luck if you had them up any earlier or later. 25th November is insanely early too. You can wait until 12 days before Christmas and put the tree up on December 13.
